Rotary dryers are widely used in the drying of materials in industries such as cement, mining, construction, chemical engineering, food, and compound fertilizers. Both the feeding and discharging devices are equipped with thermocouples to control the temperature of the dryer. The temperature change at the feeding end of the dryer is indicated by a thermometer, thereby controlling the internal temperature of the dryer (generally 250-350℃). Applications of rotary dryers: Mining industry: bentonite, titanium concentrate, coal, manganese ore, pyrite, limestone, peat; Chemical industry: Ammonium sulfate, sodium sulfide, ammonium phosphate, ammonium nitrate, urea, oxalic acid, potassium dichromate, polyvinyl chloride, nitrified phosphate fertilizer, calcium magnesium phosphate, compound fertilizer; Food: Glucose, table salt, white granulated sugar, vitamin malt milk powder, white granulated sugar; Others: iron powder, lentils, waste abrasives, matchsticks, sawdust, distiller’s grains.

The working principle of the rotary dryer:

The lifting device on the inner side of the drum lifts the materials up and down, allowing them to be thoroughly mixed with hot air, thereby enhancing the production efficiency of the dryer.
