Working principle
This machine consists of four operating conditions: filtration, washing, drying, and discharging. During the slow rotation of the filter, each filtration unit passes through these four areas in sequence. The original material is transported to the filtration area by the material pump. Under pressure filtration, a filter cake forms on the filter screen, and the filtrate passes through the filter screen and is discharged through the pipeline. In the washing area, the cleaning solution is evenly sprayed on the filter cake, providing a strong washing effect. In the drying area, compressed gas or superheated steam is used to dry the filter cake. In the discharging area, gas is blown back from the back of the filter screen or a scraper is used to scrape the filter cake out of the unit chamber. The rotating drum rotates, and each filtration chamber also rotates around the axis. It passes through four chambers to complete the processes of feeding, filtration, washing, drying, and discharging, repeating this cycle continuously.
2. Excellent sealing performance: Even when processing filter slurry containing methanol, toluene, or when using volatile solvents as the washing liquid, or when dealing with odorous materials, there is no need to worry about leakage.
3. Filter cake discharge: From the perspective of the operation of the fully automatic filter or the service life of the filter machine, simple and complete filter cake discharge is necessary. In the rotating pressure filter, the filter cake generally falls due to its own pressure. If the adhesion prevents the filter cake from falling, the discharge process will be assisted by air or gas backblowing or by a scraper machine. The filter medium is cleaned by the downstream flushing chamber. The cleaning structure can use a maximum pressure of 25 bar, making it possible to clean the filter machine in the direction of retention.
4. High efficiency: During one rotation of the drum, the filter completes a series of processes such as filtration, filter cake washing, dewatering and discharging.
5. Continuous operation: Most previous pressure filters were of intermittent operation type. This machine is continuous and meets the requirements of modern continuous production. It shows its unique advantages for the filtration of harmful and toxic solids and solvents.
6. Low moisture content of the filter cake: Because in addition to the pressure drum, compressed air, superheated steam or high-temperature gas are also used for drying, the moisture content of the filter cake is low.
7. Safety: The rotation speed of this machine is low, so there are no potential dangers of high-speed rotating machinery.
