Disc-type separators are a type of high-speed centrifugal industrial separation equipment, primarily used for the fine separation of liquid-liquid, liquid-solid or solid-liquid mixtures.
Structural composition
Disc assembly:
The core separation component is composed of dozens to hundreds of conical stainless steel discs stacked together, which can significantly increase the separation area for material sedimentation and can be a key structure for enhancing separation efficiency.
High-speed drum:
The rotating component that supports the disc assembly, with a rotational speed typically ranging from 6000 to 12000 r/min, is made of high-strength stainless steel to withstand the centrifugal force of high-speed rotation.
Feed and discharge system:
Connected to the drum through sealed pipes, it enables continuous material input and simultaneously discharges the light phase, heavy phase, and solid phase from corresponding outlets.
Drive and control device:
Includes a motor, gear transmission mechanism, and pressure and speed monitoring components. Some models are equipped with an automatic slag discharge mechanism.
The components with higher density, such as the oil sludge in the sewage, move towards the drum wall and are discharged from the heavy phase outlet;
The components with lower density, such as the oil in the sewage, move towards the center of the drum and are discharged from the light phase outlet;
Solid particles will be retained on the surface of the disc or at the bottom of the drum and are discharged through the continuous slag discharge mechanism.
