The B2-K1016 CNC camshaft grinding machine is a high-end CNC machine tool specifically designed for the precision grinding of camshafts. This machine adopts the production-type CNC machine design method and CNC non-circular grinding technology to achieve CNC linkage grinding of the cam profile. It has strong processing flexibility, is easy to operate and reliable, and features high rigidity, high efficiency, and high reliability.
This machine uses CNC two-axis interpolation linkage, with full closed-loop feedback control for the grinding wheel feed axis (X-axis) and the workpiece rotation axis (C-axis), to achieve CNC precise positioning motion for the cam non-circular profile. It completely resolves the shortcomings of traditional pattern-based processing machines, such as poor processing flexibility, difficult mold processing, and complex maintenance. The CBN grinding wheel linear speed is 120m/s. The C-axis and X-axis both adopt internationally advanced direct drive technology. It is mainly used for the large-scale precision processing of cam profiles on internal combustion engine camshaft parts. The front side of the machine is a vertical plane with no adjustment links, suitable for installing part logistics transmission lines, without mutual interference. It is an ideal equipment for production lines and complies with relevant national and international standards in terms of safety, environmental protection, and ergonomics.
The integrated mechanical and electrical structure layout is uniform, with overall protection, and maintenance is convenient, meeting ergonomic requirements.
The CBN grinding wheel is directly driven by the static pressure electric spindle, featuring high rotational speed, good precision retention, and high rigidity. The CBN wheel linear speed is up to 120m/s, and it is equipped with an internal built-in dynamic balance system, enabling three-axis linkage feed. The headstock (C-axis) is directly driven by a torque motor, with a positioning accuracy of 0.002 degrees. The grinding wheel frame (X-axis) is directly driven by a linear motor, with good dynamic response and a maximum speed of up to 40 m/min. The worktable (Z-axis) is driven by a servo motor, with a minimum setting unit of 0.1 um and a maximum feed speed of up to 20 m/min.

The 120m/s CBN grinding wheel is adjusted by diamond rollers, equipped with a sonar detector, which can ensure precise adjustment with minimal accuracy, extending the service life of the CBN grinding wheel; the rollers are directly driven by the electric spindle.
It uses a CNC system and has comprehensive control functions such as program transformation during grinding, workpiece quality management, machine status monitoring, fault self-diagnosis, and abnormal alarm. The menu interface input is simple.
