GKH series fully automatic siphon-type horizontal scraper discharge centrifuge

The GKH series fully automatic siphon-type horizontal scraper discharge centrifuge is a continuous operation intermittent discharge solid-liquid separation equipment. Compared with the GK(F) type centrifuge, it has higher production capacity and separation efficiency.
This type of centrifuge is controlled by PLC program, with variable frequency speed regulation. The braking system adopts energy consumption braking or feedback braking. It operates in a fully automatic cycle. The manual operation mode and the fully automatic operation mode can be freely switched.

Working principle
The horizontal siphon scraper centrifuge not only has the driving force of a conventional scraper discharge centrifuge, but also has a siphon suction force similar to that of a vacuum tube.
When the centrifuge is unloaded, liquid is filled into the siphon chamber through the counter-flow pipe. The liquid flows out of the siphon chamber through the holes in the rotating drum and into the gap between the inner and outer drums, while removing the air from the siphon tube and forming a layer of liquid on the filter medium, thus ensuring uniform distribution of the feed. Then, the feed begins, and at the same time, the siphon tube rotates to a certain position. After a certain period of time, it rotates to the required lower position. After the feed is completed, the siphon tube is turned to the lowest position (the maximum diameter position of the siphon chamber). After the suspension enters the drum, the solid particles are retained on the filter cloth, while the liquid passes through the filter cloth and the inner drum of the centrifuge, converging in the gap between the inner and outer drums, and entering the siphon chamber through the holes in the drum and the siphon tube, and then being drawn away by the siphon tube. After the deposited solids are dried, the cylinder drives the scraper to rotate and start scraping the material, which then slides out of the machine through the hopper. After the discharge is completed, the screen is washed. The siphon scraper centrifuge not only washes the filter cloth inside the drum, but also adds flushing water to the siphon chamber through the counter-flow pipe. The up and down rotation of the siphon tube is controlled to cause the liquid to pulsate and reverse-siphon the filter screen. The flushing time can be determined according to the material characteristics, and at this time, the screen washing is completed and automatically enters the next working cycle.

Main features
Compared with horizontal scraper discharging centrifuges of the same specifications, this model has a faster filtration speed and lower moisture content of the filter cake.
After the scraping cycle is completed, the residual filter cake is regenerated and resuspended by adding backwashing liquid through the backwash pipe. Backwashing and removal of the residual filter cake.
The position of the liquid intake port of the suction pipe can be adjusted to regulate the filtration speed, enabling different filtration speeds during feed, separation, filter cake washing and filter cake dewatering, so that the centrifuge always operates in the optimal condition, with stable equipment operation, low vibration and noise.
