The LWZ series horizontal spiral disc sedimentation combination machine is a special horizontal sedimentation centrifuge designed for the separation of fine particles. It is horizontal, with continuous feed, continuous liquid discharge, and solid discharge. It is suitable for separating, dehydrating, clarifying and classifying various suspensions. It can also achieve better separation results for liquids containing fine particles. Therefore, it is widely used in industries such as chemical engineering, light industry, environmental protection, pharmaceuticals, food, oil mining, etc. (such as: fruit peels and pectin, anti-AIDS drugs, wine, industrial sludge treatment, food waste oil treatment, oilfield refining, butyl acetate, etc.).
Working Principle
When the machine is running, connect the power supply and start the equipment. The main motor and the auxiliary motor start running and automatically increase their speed. Once they reach the set speed, the feeding valve is activated. The separated suspension fluid enters the screw silo through the feeding pipe and undergoes brief separation and impact acceleration before being thrown onto the inner wall of the drum. Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid matter with the highest density in the material is separated to the farthest point from the rotation center of the drum and adheres to the inner wall. The less dense clear liquid is squeezed by the solid matter and the suspension fluid to a position closer to the rotation center. As the material continues to be fed in, the clear liquid enters the combined separation device installed on the screw feeder again. Fine particles are once again settled and the separated clear liquid is discharged from the weir plate of the large end cover of the drum. The solid matter in the drum is pushed out of the drum by the screw feeder at the set speed through the solid phase outlet of the drum’s conical section and out of the centrifuge drum.
