A plate and frame filter press is basically a machine that separates solids from liquids. It’s made up of a bunch of filter plates and frames arranged alternately, with filter cloth sandwiched in between.It is widely used in wastewater treatment, chemical industry, pharmaceutical manufacturing, food and beverage production, mining, and other sectors.
The key components of a plate and frame filter press are the filter plates and the filter frames. These elements are arranged alternately to form a series of chambers for the slurry (a mixture of solid and liquid) to pass through.
