The LWD series centrifuge is a combined centrifuge for concentration and filtration. It integrates the working principles and characteristics of the horizontal spiral discharge sedimentation centrifuge and the horizontal spiral discharge filtration centrifuge in two different separation stages to achieve the best separation effect.
Working Principle
When the LWD series centrifuge is in operation, the power supply is first connected, and the main unit starts and automatically increases its speed. When it reaches the preset value, the feed valve opens, and the material passes through the feed pipe and the distribution cone located in the middle of the spiral body to enter the sedimentation section of the centrifuge for pre-dewatering of the slurry with low solid content, achieving thickening effect and effectively ensuring the clarity of the sedimentation section.
Most of the liquid is discharged through a variable overflow device on the back side of the centrifuge, and the clarified liquid is separated out.
The solid material is pre-thickened and sent to the screen of the centrifuge for further dehydration. If necessary, flushing can be arranged.
According to production needs, the two liquids can be discharged separately or combined into one and then discharged through a single or double cyclone.
Main features
Designed based on the technology of spiral screen filter centrifuges, with the addition of a pre-concentration device to enhance separation efficiency. It can be applied to slurry with low solid concentration. After concentration, it can be filtered again to achieve efficient recovery of fine particle materials.

The amount of mother liquid containing fine particles in the filtration section is very small. It can be separately recovered with low product moisture content and large processing capacity.
The clarity of the settled separated mother liquid is high, and the solid content is low.
